DeVotchKa play Dublin
The Denver four-piece who composed the music to the Oscar-winning Little Miss Sunshine are playing Dublin this August.
DeVotchKa feature strongly on the soundtrack to the hit film Little Miss Sunshine, and now they’re bringing their upbeat folk rock to Dublin.
A far cry from your usual group, DeVotchKa started out as a house band for a US burlesque troupe. They then managed to work their way up to play as part of the saucy stage show by Marilyn Manson's ex, Dita Von Teese.
They’ve also supported many popular folk, rock and indie groups, like Calexico, Gogol Bordello, Belle & Sebastian and the Dresden Dolls.
The Colorado group play Crawdaddy on August 24. Tickets are on sale now from usual outlets, priced €15/20.
