Arab Strap to play Temple Bar Music Centre
After releasing a more upbeat album to balance out their past songs of melancholy, the boys have set their sights on Dublin for the summer.
Comprising of Aidan Moffat and Malcolm Middleton, Arab Strap will play the Temple Bar Music Centre live on June 16.
After the release of five albums and solo projects to boot, the Scots are now keeping busy with their latest release, The Last Romance. It's a bit of a change from the Arab Strap we're used to, but the Temple Bar gig will give fans a chance to witness first-hand the different sounds included in such tracks as 'Stink', 'Speed:Date' and 'Dream Sequence'.
"It’s a lot more upbeat but still deals with some of the darker aspects of relationships," reveals Moffat. "It’s like the dark side in Star Wars though – quicker, faster...more seductive.”
Tickets are €20 through Ticketmaster and other usual outlets nationwide.
