Charis live in Dublin
Intimate rock with a touch of world beat comes to Dublin next month as Galway-based band Charis arrive to play three long-awaited gigs in Dublin.
Having toured extensively in Ireland and the U.S, Charis have built up a solid fanbase from their two albums, 'Desert Dark Sky' (2001) and 'Winterflower' (2003) and regularly create their own particular brand of magic in Galway's Roisin Dubh among other venues.
Described by the Boston Globe as a, "Celtic version of the Dave Matthews Band, mixing sprightly rock with rhythmic jams", Charis play Whelans on Feb 7, the Voodoo Lounge on Feb 9 and The Mezz on Feb 10. Not to be missed!
