If They Don’t Care, Why Should I?

Move over Relish; there’s another upbeat funk-pop band out there. The Berries’ second EP heralds the arrival of another new band to keep peepers peeled for. The Berries are nothing if not versatile – ‘I Got Mine’ is a pleasantly energetic funk tune, while ‘Take Charge Of A Life’ is a more ambitious, emotive song. If anything, it’ll be interesting to see exactly which stylistic mast they eventually nail their colours to in the future.
