Role Model announces new album Chuck Timely & The Hourglass
The first single 'High Hopes 3000' will be out June 3
Role Model has announced his third album, Chuck Timely & The Hourglass, set for release on August 7. The first single, ‘High Hopes 3000’, will be released on June 3.
The singer is currently performing at a series of festivals, including Primavera Sound, Reading Festival and Electric Picnic on August 29.
This will be his first release since the deluxe edition of Kansas Anymore, which included the track ‘Sally, When the Wine Runs Out’, a song that went viral on social media. During a Saturday Night Live performance, Charli XCX made a surprise appearance. The original album reached number 47 on the Irish Albums Chart.
Following its release, Role Model embarked on the No Place Like Tour, which opened in Dublin at the 3Olympia Theatre before continuing across Europe, North America and Australia. He has also previously supported Gracie Abrams on tour.
He is set to make his acting debut in Good Sex, alongside Natalie Portman, in a film directed by Lena Dunham.
Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, was born in the northeastern state of Maine. He began his music career as a rapper before transitioning into singing. His alternative rock debut RX was released in 2022.
