Harry Styles shares music video for 'Dance No More'
The former One Direction member has released the music video for his latest single from his album Kiss All the Time. Disco Occasionally
Harry Styles has released the music video for ‘Dance No More’, the third from his latest album, Kiss All the Time. Disco Occasionally. Directed by Colin Solal Cardo, the video sees the former One Direction member dancing in a gymnasium alongside a large group of performers.
The release follows the videos for ‘Aperture’, which also served as the album’s title track, and ‘American Girls’ as the second single.
Kiss All the Time. Disco Occasionally is Styles’ fourth studio album and his first in three years. It marked a stylistic shift for the singer-songwriter. Moving away from some of the rock influences of his earlier work, the album incorporates a stronger dance-pop sound with electronic elements. To celebrate its release, Styles performed a special one-night-only concert in Manchester on the day the album came out. The performance was later released on Netflix.
The album debuted at No. 1 on the Irish Albums Charts and received positive reviews from critics. Hot Press described the record as: “What emerges across Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally is an artist increasingly confident in shaping his own sonic identity. Styles’ ear for melody remains central, but here it’s fittingly paired with a verve for the textures and rhythms of dance music.”
Styles is also preparing to begin his Together, Together tour, which will include 12 shows in London and four performances in Amsterdam, before a 30-night residency at Madison Square Garden between August and October.
