The release of this single coincides with the Anti-War gig at the Point Depot, and it ties in thematically, too. It’s a slow, melancholic tune, with the alternating vocals of Moore and Rice not so much blending into as contrasting one another, drawing listeners in rather than washing over them. As the song title indicates, the lyrics are concerned with war and the ensuing loneliness, heartbreak and, inevitably, death. This will definitely go down a storm on July 19
