Arrested Development: alive and coming to Dublin!
Hip-hop legends Arrested Devlopment are not yet dead and gone - January sees them performing new material at The Village
Original anti-gangster hip hoppers Arrested Development will play The Village on Sunday January 25. The Spooks and Quannum Records' Lifesavas will also be supporting on the night, making this a must-see gig for people into hip-hop of this ilk.
Arrested Development's debut album, released in 1992, was considered the antidote to the hard- edge rap of the time. Their socially conscious lyrics and clean, radio friendly tunes, such as 'People Everyday' and 'Mr. Wendal', have made them a worldwide success.
In 1996 bandmembers took a break to work on solo projects, but since 2000 have been working on new material and touring with most of their original members, including frontman Speech.
Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets are priced at €18.
