Ozzy Osbourne cancels European tour
Ozzy will not make his Point appearance next week due to a serious case of the shakes
Ozzy Osbourne has cancelled his European tour which was to have included an October 22 stop-off at The Dublin Point.
In an official statement, the singer reveals he's been receiving treatment for the nervous tremour that's been more and more noticeable recently on The Osbournes.
"I was at the point where it felt as if this problem was practically destroying my life along with my self-esteem," Ozzy confides. "I was no longer comfortable being around people, which as you can imagine is not the best trait for a performer.
"I feel like I keep letting you all down," he continues, "which breaks my heart. But you have my word I will be over in the New Year to complete my European tour."
Responding to the music industry rumour-mill, his personal physician, Dr. Allan Ropper, states" "Ozzy does not have Parkinson's Disease. However, he does have a tremour which is coming under control with medication. Unfortunately, one of the side-effects of the medication is dry mouth, which greatly impairs the voice."
