Eddi Reader announces Irish tour

Former Fairport Convention woman Eddi Reader’s Irish love affair continues this month when she plays Draiocht, Dublin (20); Glor, Ennis (21); Pavilion, Cork (22); St. Iberius Church, Wexford (24); Siamsa Tire Arts Centre, Tralee (25); Grand Social, Dublin (27); Arts Centre, Ballina (28); Hawk’s Well Theatre, Sligo (29); and Riverbank Arts Centre, Newbridge (March 1).

Awarded an MBE in 2006 ‘Outstanding Contribution To The Arts’, Reader’s post-Fairground collaborations include Big Country, Jools Holland and Gang Of Four.
She’s also released a string of critically-acclaimed solo albums, the latest of which is 2009’s Love Is The Way.
