Hot for 2022 Irish Acts: Travi The Native

The North is currently enjoying a purple patch when it comes to cerebral pop – and that’s thanks, in part, to the efforts of this stylish sonic adventurer. The creation of Belfast-based songsmith Travis Gilbert, the likes of Prefab Sprout and The 1975 inform Travi The Native’s impeccably produced songs. His soul and sax-spiced effort, ‘Still Hurting’, is one of the best pop tracks of the newly minted decade, and we predict Travi has lots more where that came from.
