YT announces headline show at Academy 2

UK-based rapper and producer YT has just announced his upcoming Book A Flight To... tour, including a headline show at Academy 2, Dublin on May 2.

The news follows the release of his latest album, OI!, which dropped on March 28. The record blends elements of jerk, rap, and pop-rap, continuing the sound he’s been developing since his early SoundCloud days in 2016.

YT, real name Tola Alade, has now released four full-length projects, with OI! following 2023’s #STILLSWAGGIN and Real Life, as well as 2019’s Cul de Trap.

UK underground giants and frequent collaborators Fimiguerro, Len, and Lancey Foux are all featured on the new record.

Support on the night comes from Kwes e and other special guests. The venue is strictly 18+.

Artist presale opens Wednesday, April 2 at 10 a.m.
