Wolfmother announce Dublin’s Academy show for July
Tickets go on sale next Monday, May 26.
Grammy Award-winning Australian hard rock band Wolfmother have now announced a headline Academy, Dublin show set for Tuesday, July 1 2025.
Described as “pledging allegiance to thick, throttling fuzz guitars, primal psychedelia, and thundering rhythms,” Wolfmother “split the difference between the classic sludge of Black Sabbath and the retro-garage rock of the White Stripes.”
The band formed in 2004 in Sydney, and have since released 6 studio albums and received a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance for their 2007 track ‘Woman’,
Around March 2020 the world took a break from live music with the onset of a worldwide pandemic – wWhen the world stage shut down, Wolfmother's Andrew Stockdale took to the home studio playing all of the instruments, crafting out the band’s 6th studio album Rock Out.
Tickets for Wolfmother’s gig in Dublin’s Academy go on sale this Monday at 10am here.
