Tickets are on sale now and can be found at the link below.
Psych-pop band THUMPER have announced their second album Sleeping With The Light On, out February 20, along with their biggest headline show to date, set for The Academy, Dublin on Tuesday March 4, 2026.
The news is accompanied by the release of the Dublin group's fourth single taken from the album, the 10 minute 'Middle Management'.
With a line-up of two drummers and four guitarists, the six piece are known for their maximalist sound.
Their 2022 debut album Delusions of Grandeur landed the group a nomination for Irish Album of the Year at the 2023 RTÉ Choice Prize, alongside Fontaines D.C., Just Mustard, CMAT, Dermot Kennedy and more.
They have also become regular features at festivals, appearing at Electric Picnic, All Together Now, Indiependence, Other Voices, Reading & Leeds, Mad Cool and Iceland Airwaves.
The band supported Kasabian on their 2023 Irish tour.
“'Middle Management' is a song that we attempted to write and repeatedly scrapped for years," said frontman Oisin Furlong Leahy. "The first demo dates back to well before the first album, and there were probably 10 versions since then."
"We very gradually hammered it into shape, condensing years of ideas into something cohesive," he added.
Tickets for THUMPER's Dublin show are on sale now and can be found here.
