Willie Nelson plots Irish tour
As ever, it's a family affair.
Those most inveterate of road warriors, Willie Nelson & Family, return to Ireland for a brief tour that takes them to the O2, Dublin (June 3); INEC, Killarney (4); and the Royal Theatre, Castlebar (5). Tickets for all of those are €55.
Along with Waylon, Johnny and Kris, Nelson is one of the original country outlaws, and persists in growing old as disgracefully as possible.
Along with evergreens from his 50-year-plus career, he’ll be showcasing last year’s American Classic album – his best-selling yet – and Country Music, which is out in April and finds him shacking up in the studio with T-Bone Burnett.
