Wild Roots give practical demonstration of how Irish music festivals can be run safely
14/5/2021 No Reproduction Fee. Live Music Returns to Sligo. The first practical demonstration outlining how outdoor music festivals can be run in the era of Covid-19 took place in Co. Sligo today (14.05.2021). Organisers of the Wild Roots Music Festival took members of the media and key industry stakeholders on the first look at their new festival site on the shores of Lough Gill. During the site visit, Live bands played on the festival's ÒWild Roots StageÓ and there was a demonstration of the worldÕs first AI-powered Rapid Antigen technology for Live events. It marks the first time that this new technology has been used in Ireland. Wild Roots is a new boutique festival that will take place August 13-15 with musical performances including the Kaiser Chiefs, Damien Dempsey and TolŸ Makay. Picture shows.
