Whatever happened to my Rocca 'n' roll?
La Rocca sign on the dotted line, release five track mini album, headline the Music Centre and support The Vines! Yowsa!
Dublin guitar merchants La Rocca have signed on the dotted line with Wet Clay, the Limerick label run by Cranberries accountant Alan McEvoy.
The first fruits of the liaison are a five-track mini-album, A Midnight Musical, co-produced by Marc Carolan and ex-Cactus World News man Frank Kearns. Perfectionists that they are, they've also drafted in Malcolm "I did the classic Buzzcocks sleeves, me!" Garrett to take care of the artwork.
The quartet's growing army of fans includes The Vines who've asked them to take care of support duties at the Dublin Ambassador on May 3. Prior to that the band play the Music Centre tomorrow night, April 3, with the highly-touted The Voyeurs and Trackfour in support.
