Netflix announce new Kylie Minogue documentary series
A release date is expected to be announced in due course.
Netflix has announced a three-part documentary series on Kylie Minogue.
The Australian pop singer, who most recently featured on Pinkpantheress' 'Stateside' remix, has had a career spanning over nearly five decades. KYLIE, will delve into her personal experiences with the rise to fame, as well as her contributions to pop music.
The series comes from the creators behind Beckham, the 2023 documentary following the life and career of David Beckham. KYLIE, will feature archival material, such as home movies and new interviews with Minogue.
Netlfix has said the doc will "examine how she’s faced public scrutiny, personal loss, and illness with grit and grace, earning respect far beyond her own fandom," referencing her 2005 breast cancer diagnosis.
Direction for the series will come from BAFTA-winning director Michael Harte.
An official release date is expected to be announced within the next few months.
