Watch: Trailer revealed for documentary about deceased rapper Lil Peep
Lil Peep, born Gustav Åhr, died of an accidental overdose in 2017, aged 21.
The first trailer for Everybody's Everything, the highly anticipated documentary about emo-rapper Lil Peep has been released, featuring appearances from Post Malone and iLoveMakonnen.
Premiered at the SXSW Film Festival earlier this year, the documentary offers an intimate and emotional look at the life of the ground-breaking young artist, who passed away on November 15, 2017, following an accidental overdose of fentanyl and Xanax.
Bringing together elements of punk, emo and trap, the Long Island, NY-raised rapper first gained a following on SoundCloud. His second studio album, Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 2, released posthumously, debuted at No.4 on the Billboard 200.
"Everybody's Everything is an intimate, humanistic portrait," reads the official synopsis, "that seeks to understand an artist who attempted to be all things to all people."
The documentary's executive producers include three-times Oscar-nominated filmmaker Terrence Malick, Lil Peep's mother Liza Womack and Sarah Stennett of First Access Entertainment.
