WATCH: Teaser trailer for Edward Snowden biopic

The biopic about Edward Snowden, who revealed the ocean size scale of American and British spying on innocent people, has gotten its first trailer. Directed by Oliver Stone, Snowden tells the story of the man who in 2013 leaked documents confirming the spying to a number of journalists.

Snowden is now a refugee in Russia and will be played in the film by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Zachary Quinto (Star Trek, Heroes) plays journalist Glenn Greenwald and Oscar-winner Melissa Leo (The Fighter) stars as filmmaker Laura Poitras.

The film’s out Christmas Day in the US so we should see here sometime early next year. Check out the trailer below.
