Gracie Abrams debuts at No.1 on Irish charts with Daughter from Hell

Gracie Abrams has landed her first Irish No. 1 album, with Daughter from Hell debuting at the summit of this week's Official Irish Albums Chart. The record, released on July 17, also opened at No. 1 in the UK.

The chart-topping release follows the success of Abrams' previous albums, Good Riddance (2023) and The Secret Of Us (2024) where she was nominated for a Grammy for Best New Artist. In 2025, Abrams won an American Music Award for New Artist of Year.

In recent years, she has completed a string of sold-out headline tours, opened for Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour, and announced two Dublin dates at the 3Arena for April 2027.

In its review, Hot Press described Daughter from Hell as "an intentional departure" from her career as "one of pop’s quintessential girl next door."

"Abrams appears determined to shed that image in favour of something darker, positioning herself as a patron saint for troubled young women," it said.

Daughter from Hell was produced primarily by longtime collaborator Aaron Dessner of The National, with additional contributions from Jack Antonoff and Audrey Hobert.

Abrams will return to Ireland to Dublin's 3Arena on April 19 and 20, 2027.
