WATCH: Rory & The Island's 'Peace + Love + Ringo Starr' video

Rory & The Island head home on April 4 for a show in the Dublin Academy.
Now based in Lanzarote where he owns a very successful music bar, the former Revs lead singer also has a new single, 'Peace + Love + Ringo Starr', which underlines what a fine songwriter he is.
A native of Donegal, Mr. Gallagher (no relation!) hit the Irish charts again in 2012 with 'Jimmy's Winning Matches' and also caused a stir with the entrance tune he penned for Irish boxer Jason Quigley, 'Make Way For The Fighting Irish', when he made his pro debut last year in Vegas.
