Watch: New Villagers video

Ushering in the next phase in Conor J. O'Brien's musical escapades, this beautifully bright morning brings the first video for the first single from Villagers' sophomore effort.

Electronic, quite contrary, and definitely coming from the leftfield, it gives us real progression and suggests the new album could go in any direction. An extremely promising return.

Here's what O'Brien has to say:

"I was looking up at the sky on a particularly clear night and it struck me that I had never written a song about those little moments when you feel a fundamental and awesome sense of wonder and a simultaneously humbling recognition of absolute insignificance."

The fitting video, which you can see below, is directed by Alden Volney, whilst the single is released October 19.
