Inferno is the final installment of Dan Brown's best-selling novels.
The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons were both hugely successful as novels and in their film adaptation counterparts. Tom Hanks has played out the strange encounters of Robert Langdon throughout the series and Inferno sees Hanks under the direction of Ron Howard. The cast also stars Felicity Jones, Omar Sy, Ben Foster and Irrfan Khan. Inferno opens as Langdon wakes up in a hospital bed in Florence suffering from a bout of unexplained temporary amnesia. His bad luck is worsened as he finds himself the target of yet another major manhunt. Through his expertise in symbology and the help of Dr. Sienna Brooks (Jones), Langdon must unravel the most intricate riddle he has faced yet with his life is on the line.
Inferno hits cinemas on October 14.
