WATCH: Grimes premieres video for 'Kill V. Maim'

Grimes is back with an amazing new eventful music video 'Kill V. Maim'.

Of course, any time you see the word 'Grimes' and 'video', you know there are going to be strange, exuberant costumes, and vivid, striking background sets in abundance - and with perhaps the standout track from her weird and wonderful Art Angels, that's most certainly the case.

For the first minute, Grimes appears to be channeling an all-female version of Michael Jackson's 'Bad' video. She is flanked by leather-clad ladies hanging around an underground subway station.

The footage then flips to what looks like a reenactment of the club scene from the Wesley Snipes vampire film Blade, to the synth-pop artist roaming around an empty jail, wearing all black, donned with black angel wings.
