WATCH: First trailer for upcoming thriller, '71

The first trailer for the Belfast-set suspense thriller '71 has arrived.

The film is set over 24 hours and follows a young British soldier stranded in hostile territory in Belfast during the height of the troubles. Jack O'Connell of Skins fame plays the new recruit and is joined on the cast by Sam Reid, Sean Harris, Charlie Murphy and Killian Scott.

Directed by Yann Demange, the film is already being pegged as a stark and gripping recreation of violence-stricken '70s Belfast.

It's set for a 2015 release, but in the meantime you can check out the brand new first-look trailer below.
