The new superstore promises to be a one-stop destination for music lovers, ranging from beginners to professional musicians and will carry some of the most famous brands in music including Gibson, Marshall, Yamaha, Zoom and many more.

Waltons has been in the business now for over 90 years and is a name familiar to musicians young and old. Many will have purchased their first guitar, or indeed just about any musical instrument that springs to mind, from one of its music shops.

The Waltons shop on South Great George's Street was in fact the setting of the movie Once's most famous scene. It is the place where Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová sing their Oscar-winning song ‘Falling Slowly’ together.
