The X Factor star's Wright Venue gig is cancelled
X Factor star Wagner has been forced to cancel his Dublin date, scheduled for tonight (Thursday Dec 23) at The Wright Venue. The cancellation is due to adverse weather conditions, as a result of heavy snow which has disrupted flights to and from Dublin over the past three days. Dublin Airport was closed again today after further falls of snow hit the capital.
Current plans are to reschedule the date in the new year, though no decision has been made yet as to when the appearance will now take place. The Wright Venue will open as usual tonight at 10.00pm
Meanwhile it has been confirmed that internationally acclaimed superstar DJ David Morales will play the Wright Venue on December 28, while on New Years Eve the "Fire and Ice Ball" will take place.
"On New Year's Eve, clubbers will fill the three stunning floors of the Wright Venue and welcome 2011 with the 4PLAY DJ'S," a spokesperson told Hot Press. "Hot off the heels of Pete Tong's first Irish performance in five years, the 4PLAY DJ'S will follow in his foots steps, playing late into the night.
