Vittorio Angelone and Mike Rice announce Gig for Palestine at Vicar Street
The fundraising gig in support of Medical Aid for Palestinians will feature Emma Doran, Kyla Cobbler and more.
Comedians Vittorio Angelone and Mike Rice have announced a fundraising gig in support of Medical Aid for Palestinians in Dublin’s Vicar Street on September 1.
The show’s lineup will include Emma Doran, Kyla Cobbler, with more to be announced.
All proceeds will go directly to Medical Aid for Palestinians, which has programmes in the West Bank, Gaza, East Jerusalem, and Lebanon, working with local partners to offer an effective, sustainable and locally-led system of healthcare, and the full realisation of their rights to health and dignity to all Palestinians.
The organisation also “speaks out in the UK and internationally, and ensures Palestinian voices are heard at the highest levels, to press for the political and social barriers to Palestinian health and dignity to be addressed.”
The Vicar Street Gig for Palestine follows the success of last month’s Music For Gaza Benefit which welcomed Mohammad Syfkhan, Pretty Happy, Junior Brother and ØXN to the Button Factory stage and was also held in aid of Medical Aid For Palestinians.
Tickets for Vicar Street’s Gig for Palestine sell for €25 and are available now.
