UTV confirms talk over sale of television assets

UTV Media hve confirmed reports that they are looking to sell off their television assets.
A note to the London Stock Exchange this morning says that talks with an unnamed party "may or may not result in such a transaction being agreed".
It's not immediately clear whether or not UTV Ireland will be involved in the sale, but it comes in the wake of an admission by the fledgling station that it will make far greater losses than first anticipated; initial estimates of a shortfall of £8.5m for 2015 were revised to over £11m.
