US teen sensation Justin Bieber tops the Irish album chart
The week's highest new entry is supplied by Sigur Ros man Jonsi.
Justin Bieber’s debut album My World has jumped five places to claim the number one spot on the new Irish album chart. The album, which was released in two parts, already went platinum in the USA last year. Its first single 'Baby' (featuring rapper Ludacris) currently sits at No. 10 in the Irish singles chart.
Bieber replaces Glee The Music: Vol 2, which remains in the top 5 along with Glee The Music: Vol 1.
The highest new entry at number 15 is Go, the new solo offering from Sigur Ros man Jonsi.
The only other top 30 debutante is that young whippersnapper Frank Sinatra whose posthumous The Great American Songbook is straight in at 25.
