Undertones to release 35th anniversary album

Derry act The Undertones are set to release a special album on June 3, titled An Introduction To The Undertones. It marks the 35th anniversary of their seminal Teenage Kicks LP.

The new album comprises a 22-track CD, plus a two-hour DVD feature; 'Teenage Kicks: The Story Of The Undertones', as well as seven promo videos and rare live performance footage from 1978 – 1983.

The band also features in the new Terri Hooley biopic, Good Vibrations, which charts the rise of the Belfast punk scene in the late '70s.

The album's release also ties in with the City of Culture celebrations, awarded to Derry this year.
