Trivium releases new song, 'The Sin and the Sentence'

Trivium have just released the new track, ‘The Sin And The Sentence’, their first new song since 2015’s release, Silence In The Snow.
The band has also released a music video for the song. The video features the lead singer, Matt Heafy, alternating between spending time at a lavish feast and screaming at the walls of a small gaol cell. Makes sense for a song with the title ‘The Sin And The Sentence’. It also features all the mock religious imagery, skulls, and beautiful women that you would expect from a Trivium video.
The band says that they will have a new album coming out later this fall, with further details being announced in the next few weeks.
For now, the Florida-based band is doing a tour of European metal festivals, including a performance at Wacken Open Air later this week, and many more performances throughout the month of August.
