Triple Beats in Dublin
Film, Phife Dawg & Onra supply us with a packed day of hip hop next week…
On Saturday November 26, Dubliners will have the chance to fill their entire waking hours with not one, not two, but three hip hop related events occurring in the city.
First up is a screening of Beats Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest at The Sugarclub, 2.15pm. It’s the official Irish premiere for the Michael Rapaporte film, and a Q&A with Phife Dawg himself will follow with signings at 5.30pm.
To see the man in action, get over to The Twisted Pepper for 8.30pm to catch Phife Dawg with support from The Infomatics & Rizm.
Then stick around from 11.30pm for the cherry on the cake – a launch party for the new album by French beatmaker Onra. He’ll be accompanied by Krystal Klear and DJ Tu-Ki & DJ Wool.
You can pay just €22 for entrance to all three events if you buy them through
