KNEECAP announce FENIAN playback events in Ireland, Scotland and England
"A chairde Gael," wrote KNEECAP. "Ye can get down to a wee sneak FENIAN play event across local record shops in Ireland, Scotland & England."
KNEECAP have announced playback events for their upcoming album FENIAN in Ireland, Scotland and England, set to take place at local record shops on Monday, April 27.
During these events, fans will be able to hear the album in full ahead of its release on May 1, as well as get their hands on a few surprises.
Those who attend will also have the opportunity to order a new special white-label FENIAN vinyl edition.
Earlier this month, the Belfast rap trio released the track ‘Fenian’, taken from the upcoming record of the same name.
Produced by Fontaines D.C. and Black Midi collaborator Dan Carey, 14-track album FENIAN will feature collaborations with Lankum's Radie Peat on ‘Cocaine Hill’ and West Bank-based rapper Fawzi on ‘Palestine’.
Last month, the group also performed in Havana, Cuba, following the arrival of the Nuestra América Convoy on March 21. KNEECAP shared the stage with former Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn and US streamer Hasan Piker.
The Nuestra América Convoy travelled to Cuba to deliver critical aid in response to a US-imposed siege.
In January, an executive order by the Trump administration imposed tariffs on any country supplying oil to Cuba, an action designed to cut off fuel and supplies to the island.
Tickets for the playback events and vinyl pre-orders are available here.
