Travis Scott released from custody in Paris without charge
The American Rapper had been arrested on Friday night after an altercation with a bodyguard
Travis Scott was released from police custody without charge on Saturday, following a fight with his bodyguard in Paris the night before.
Police were called to the 5-star George V hotel after an altercation broke out, with Scott allegedly attacking a security guard who intervened.
The city’s prosecutor said that the case was dismissed due to a lack of evidence to support the offence, according to CNN.
The rapper was previously arrested in June, where an argument on a private yacht saw him charged with trespassing and disorderly intoxication in Miami.
He was also accused of assaulting a staff member in a New York Nightclub in 2023 and is said to have reached a settlement with the club since.
The 10-time Grammy award nominee had been in Paris for the Olympic Games, where he watched Thursday night’s match between Serbia and the United States.
He was photographed at the game alongside American Businessman Michael Rubin, as well as former member of Migos, Quavo.
Scott had been in Europe for his Circus Maximus tour, playing the final show in Lisbon the week before his arrest.
