Track of The Day: Thumper, "(You're Bringing Me) Down"

2018 has seen Dublin-based band Thumper tour relentlessly, headlining Hard Working Class Heroes in addition to playing a slew of summer festivals including Electric Picnic, Body & Soul and Sea Sessions, during which they have clawed out a reputation for exhilarating live performances.

The infectiously catchy "Down" infuses the best of pop and grunge, with a throwback to the glory days of 90s noise-rock. At the center of manic beats and pounding rhythms are skillfully crafted lyrics that reveal the beauty behind the chaos.

The video is a perfect complement to the track featuring an equal measure of headbanging and kaleidoscopic graphics in a seven-minute frenzy of captivating sound.
