Track of the Day: 'Feisty' by SAARLOOS

SAARLOOS’s new single “Feisty” is Tailor-made for the Summer charts! The pop/dance tune that is a sing along sensation and will have you singing along all day!

Written at the end of a song writing session, as Brian was driving Andy home, Feisty was born from a 30 second voice memo of an idea that Brian had previously had. Immediately the two turned the car around and rang Craig to tell him to set up the piano (and stick the kettle on). By the time the three had finished their coffee, Feisty was ready!

Just three days later, they debuted the song to over 3,000 people at the Galway Arts Festival. From the audience’s reaction, it was clear the trio they had something special on their hands. Since then Feisty has been a crowd favourite at all Saarloos gigs.

The somewhat sombre lyrics, which talk about being someone’s “second choice”, juxtaposes beautifully with the upbeat and energetic melody. Both singers’ vocals (Craig Gallagher and Brian McGovern) are on full display and their harmonies are as tight and precious as ever. Throughout the tune the hooky “Ohs” that follow the chorus are almost impossible not to sing along to and are sure to bury deep into the ears of the listeners!
