Tom Robinson plots date with Dublin
The British songsmith will grace the Whelan's stage this winter.
New wave star and broadcaster Tom Robinson has been suitably inspired by the fresh tunes he's been spinning on his 6 Music show to put together his first album in two decades and he will be bringing it to Ireland later this year.
With Only The Now due to drop in October, the 'Glad To Be Gay' and '2-4-6-8 Motorway' singer has confirmed he will play Whelan's, Dublin, on December 9.
Tickets are priced at €20 and go on sale from usual outlets at 9am this Friday, September 11. He will be joined by Faithless drummer Andy Treacey, producer/multi-instrumentalist Gerry Diver, guitarist Adam Phillips and guest vocalist/guitarist Lee Forsyth Griffiths.
Only The Now was made with Diver and proves the 65-year-old Robinson has lost none of his energy or edge. Here's a sample of what's in store...
