Tolü Makay announced for tonight's Hot Press Lockdown Sessions

Acclaimed R&B artist Tolü Makay has been announced as our latest act on the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions – with a live set on the Hot Press Instagram at 7.30pm, tonight, April 3.

Since first dipping her toes into music by singing in church at the age 8, Tolü has fast become one of Ireland's most thrilling talents. Having recently signed with the Berlin-based record label Welcome To The New World, she released her first single of 2020, the soulful 'Let Me In', last month. In. 2019, Tolü teamed up with Irish singer-songwriter delush, collaborating on his stunning single 'The Greatest Gift.'

With the release of an EP and the recording of her debut album on the way, 2020 is set to be a landmark year for Tolü.

Throughout the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions, our star-studded line-up will be taking over the Hot Press Instagram account (@hotpressmagazine), and live-streaming performances from their homes around the world directly to your phone.
