Today FM is marking the rapidly approaching end of the first decade of the new millennium (termed 'The Noughties') with a countdown of the top 50 songs of 2000-2009.

Listeners have been voting for the past month, and the first results will be announced on the weeknight show on Monday 16 November.

The countdown will start at 10pm with song number 50 and finish by Thursday night before 11pm with song number one.
