Irish folk act Tír na nÓg are returning for a set of live gigs. The band, which is often considered one of the first ever progressive folk acts, was formed in Dublin in 1969 by Leo O'Kelly and Sonny Condell, and has had support slots with various rock bands including Jethro Tull and The Who.
Their music is based on strong Celtic roots and features intricate acoustic guitar playing and close harmony singing. In 2010, they launched their live album Live At Sirius.
