Tinariwen announce tour with 3Olympia Show
The Malian rock and roll group return to Ireland for the first time in six years.
West-African rock band Tinariwen have announced a 3Olympia show on May 25, 2026.
The show comes as part of the group's The Hoggar tour, named after the Hoggar Mountains in Algeria where the band was founded.
Last week they came out with 'Chaghaybou - Adalan' and 'Tahult in - Adalan', recorded during a live performance last year.
The group describes their musical style as 'desert blues', or in their native language Tamasheq, 'assuf', which means 'longing'.
The Dublin concert marks the band's first gig in Ireland since performing at the Olympia theatre in 2019. They also performed at the Galway Art's Festival earlier that same year.
Tickets for the 3Olympia show go on general sale this Friday, October 31 at 10 am. Presale for the Dublin show can be accessed here, and opens tomorrow October 29 at 10am.
