Time on his hands
Goodtime John breaks gigging silence with first show for six months
Irish folkist Goodtime John will be making an appearance at Whelan’s of Wexford St on March 26.
His first gig since September 2002, GTJ has been holed up in the land of faders and EQ levels in recent months, working on the follow up to 2002’s debut album, Brought Four Ways Out Of Town. The new LP is pencilled in for an early summer release through Volta Sounds.

In the interim, fans can keep themselves amused with the pending release of a split seven-inch single between the Goodtime One and Swedish band Homeland.
