Three million more reasons to love it
The North Clare area stands to earn €3 million as a result of the Lisdoonvarna festival, says co-organiser Jim Shannon
The North Clare economy will benefit to the tune of €3 million as a result of the Lisdoonvarna Festival.
That’s according to Jim Shannon, one of the local organisers who was also involved in the original Lisdoon.
“Bringing back Lisdoonvarna after 20 years will be a wonderful musical occasion but it will also bring a major financial boost for the whole area of North Clare at a time when tourism needs all the help it can,” he enthuses.
