Thread Pulls announce album launch show
It's taking place next month in The Workman's Club.
Thread Pulls – a Dublin duo who’ve variously been compared to Throbbing Gristle, Sonic Youth and the mighty Cabaret Voltaire – celebrate the release of their New Thoughts album on September 24 in The Workman’s Club with Logikparty supporting. The band are signed to Osaka, the same Irish independent that’s home to Hunter-Gatherer.
You can also catch them gracing the Body & Soul area at Electric Picnic (September 5); Whelan’s, Dublin (12 + Cathal Coughlan & The Grand Necropolitan Quintet); and Whelan’s again (29) for A Night In Memory Of Derrick Dalton. Marking the second anniversary of the former Crumb and Aeromodeller man’s death, the last on the list also features Dinah Brand, Richer Than Astronauts, Little Beauties and assorted DJ types.
After that it’s off to Denmark, Holland, Germany, Sweden, Norway and the UK for more live shows.
