These Charming Men announce 3Olympia show

Smiths and Morrissey tribute band These Charming Men have announced a show in Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre for May 23, 2025.

The announcement comes ahead of a sold-out show in Whelan’s on December 27.

With Morrissey himself commenting that he is “very impressed and flattered by what they do,” These Charming Men were formed in 1995 in Dublin and are classed as one of the premier Smiths and Morrissey tribute bands or acts around at the moment.

They have been performing at the Annual Smiths/Morrissey Convention in Los Angeles since 2001 and were requested to appear in Morrissey’s absence at the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan 2004 to play to an audience of some 35,000 people.

In December, the tribute band will also perform in Waterford, Limerick, and Dundalk, with stops in Belfast and Tipperary already in the books for 2025. Find the full list of dates here.

Tickets for These Charming Men’s May 23 gig in 3Olympia sell from €26.50 and go on sale this Friday, December 13.
