The Wran announce debut album The Stone Man and upcoming Irish tour dates
The alt-trad outfit made the announcement ahead of their sold-out Grand Social gig on Friday, April 3. Their newest single, the instrumental 'Fear Dearg', is out now.
The Wran have announced their debut album The Stone Man, out Friday, October 9.
The Co. Waterford four-piece have released a new instrumental single to accompany the album announcement. Titled 'Fear Dearg', the track develops from a foreboding dirge into an all-out jig.
The catchy tune follows the release of singles 'Sullivan's John' and 'Some Say The Devil Is Dead', also set to appear on the album.
The Wran is made up of brothers Tommy, Danny, Seán, and Stephen Dunford of the Comeragh Mountains.
The alt-trad group have announced a number of upcoming Ireland and UK tour dates supporting The Scratch this spring, including a Dublin show at The Grand Social that's already sold out.
In October, The Wran will take on another Irish tour to celebrate the album release, hitting Dublin's Workman's, Limerick's Dolans, and Cork's Wavelength, among other venues.
Tickets for the October tour dates will go on sale Monday, March 30 at 10am. Purchase them here.
