The Vaccines announce Irish tour
Dublin, Galway and Belfast are all in for visits.
Hot Press ‘Hot For 2011’ stars The Vaccines make their Irish debut in March with shows in the Academy, Dublin (March 25); Speakeasy, Belfast (26); and Roisin Dubh, Galway (27).
Ahead of that comes the March 18 release of What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?, their debut Columbia album, which includes such short-sharp shocks as ‘Wreckin’ Bar’, ‘Blow It Up’, ‘Wetsuit’, ‘Post Break-Up Sex’, ‘Wolf Pack’ and ‘Family Friend’.
While singer Justin Young losing his voice meant our planned Eurosonic hook up didn’t happen, we’ll be talking to the Londoners, who share the same management as Franz Ferdinand, very shortly.
