The Script announced for Electric Picnic 2023

The Script have been announced for this year’s Electric Picnic Festival in Stradbally Hall, Co.Laois next week.

“We’re beyond excited to welcome The Script to the Electric Picnic ‘Hall of Fame’”, said the caption of an Instagram post made by festival organisers.

“IRELAND! We are playing Electric Picnic !! Beyond excited to perform back home again,” said a separate Instagram post made by The Script.

It has not yet been confirmed whether the band will be Sunday’s mystery headliner, which has stirred speculation amongst fans for weeks.

They will join the likes of The Killers, Billie Eilish, and special guest Niall Horan. Scottish singer Paulo Nutini was announced as a new headliner just weeks before the event. See the full lineup below.

This year’s sold-out festival runs from Friday 1 September to Sunday 3 September in Stradbally Hall.
